Skin Boost Protein Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter – smooth, 100%. Or use a different nut or seed butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or another liquid sweetener of choice
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats – gluten free
  • 1/4 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1/2 cup Astaxanthin & Marine Collagen Skin Boost
  • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut EXTRA for rolling

Method

  • Place the peanut butter and honey in a large bowl and use a spoon to mix them together a little.
  • Add the oats, 1/4 cup of desiccated coconut and 1/4 cup of the collagen powder to the bowl 
  • Using a wooden spoon or a sturdy spatula, start combining all of the ingredients together. They should form a slightly sticky dough, with a consistency where it can be rolled into balls. Once the mixture has largely come together, you can test it by rolling a bit into a ball with your hands. If it’s too wet, add extra protein powder until it reaches the right consistency.
  • Roll heaped tablespoons of the dough into balls, and then roll in the extra desiccated coconut to coat.
  • Place the balls in the fridge to firm up a little. Leave them stored in the fridge in an airtight container, or alternatively freeze them for a longer life (where they should keep for about 3 months).

Glow-up Smoothies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 1/2 cup spinach
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 scoop Astaxanthin & Marine Collagen Skin Boost
  • 1 cup coconut or almond milk
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

Method

  • Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until smooth
  • Enjoy!

Chia Pudding

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup mylk of choice (we love coconut milk)
  • 1 scoop Astaxanthin & Marine Collagen Skin Boost
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • top with berries and almond butter

Method

  • Add chia seeds, mylk, Astaxanthin & Marine Collagen Skin Boost, cinnamon, vanilla, maple syrup and salt to a small bowl, stir well and let sit in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight
  • Top with berries, nut butter and any other toppings of choice. Enjoy!

Frozen Yogurt Bark 

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Greek-style or coconut yoghurt
  • 1 scoop Astaxanthin & Marine Collagen Skin Boost
  • 1 tsp blue spirulina powder (optional)
  • 2-3 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • Toppings of choice (I used frozen blueberries and roasted almonds)

Method

  • Mix together yoghurt, spirulina powder and sweetener until well combined.
  • Pour onto a tray lined with baking paper and spread to an even thickness.
  • Sprinkle with toppings and freeze for at least 3 hours or until firm.

Skin Boost Mocktail Daiquiri

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup ice
  • 1/2 cup coconut water
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon Astaxanthin & Marine Collagen Skin Boost
  • Freshly squeezed juice of 1/2 lime

Method

  • Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and mix well
  • Top with a lime slice and enjoy!
 

Honey Peach & Blackberry Iced Tea Mocktail

Ingredients

  • ½ cup of cooled black or green tea
  • ½ cup of peach nectar
  • 5-6 muddled blackberries
  • Teaspoon of honey
  • 1 scoop Astaxanthin & Marine Collagen Skin Boost
  • A squeeze of lemon juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Sprig of fresh thyme 

Method

  • Brew your tea of choice and allow to cool in the fridge
  • In a tall glass, muddle 5-6 blackberries
  • Add ice, tea, peach nectar, honey, Astaxanthin & Marine Collagen Skin Boost a squeeze of lemon juice and stir well
  • Top of a sprig of fresh thyme. Enjoy!
 

Loaded Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • One cup of cooked oats
  • 1 tablespoon of dried cranberries
  • 1 tablespoon of cacao powder
  • 1 teaspoon of hemp seeds
  • 1 scoop Astaxanthin & Marine Collagen Skin Boost
  • Top with natural yoghurt, cinnamon and raw honey to taste.

Method

  • Cook oats on stovetop with water or mylk of choice
  • Once cooked through, add cacao powder, Astaxanthin & Marine Collagen Skin Boost, dried cranberries and hemp seeds and mix well
  • Top with natural yoghurt, cinnamon and raw honey to taste.
